After a six years hiatus QHLAN made a comeback in [[2017]], as a joint effort with [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSpQYalWI7qsi8nxMb-b2ww/videos?app=desktop&view=0&sort=p&flow=grid Hazard LAN], in Fredrika Bremergymnsiet - a school in Haninge south off Stockholm. Newfound partner {{player|Jehar|flag=us}} and the production of [http://twitch.tv/TastySpleenTV TastyspleenTV] flew in from Dallas to cast the event in situ. Attracting international top names such as {{player|GT|flag=br}} and {{player|BuLaT|flag=ru}}, the event was a huge success sparking new interest and energy into the scene.

About

The "Quake-o-Holics LAN", commonly known as "QHLAN", has for long been an institution in the QuakeWorld scene, considered to be the biggest and baddest QW event, it has been the pinnacle of prestige throughout the years. First spawned in "Galaxen", a community youth center in Rotebro Centrum, the location of the venue has shifted per edition. Up until 2019, various schools around Stockholm was the stage of the event.

QHLAN was was run annually between the years of 2000 and 2011 by Stockholm LAN Association (SLA) with Sweden Lornelin in charge.

After a six years hiatus QHLAN made a comeback in 2017, as a joint effort with Hazard LAN, in Fredrika Bremergymnsiet - a school in Haninge south off Stockholm. Newfound partner United States Jehar and the production of TastyspleenTV flew in from Dallas to cast the event in situ. Attracting international top names such as Brazil GT and Russia BuLaT, the event was a huge success sparking new interest and energy into the scene.

QHLAN made its only international appearance in Denmark in the summer of 2019, hosted by Denmark Zalon in a scout center in Silkeborg.

With QHLAN2022, and later QHLAN2024, Sweden bps took over leadship and partnered up with old school legend Sweden Sniket to host the two events in Epic Studios (his dance studio) in central Stockholm.

TastyspleenTV covered every QHLAN since 2017 from on site. Thanks to their immaculate production quality, QHLAN shaped into a professional show, broadcasting the best of QW to the world.
