An exciting new format to celebrate the community aspect of QHLAN.
The highest seeded players will serve as captains and live-draft new teams to battle it out for glory.
We wanted to give a new map the spotlight, so qube was originally selected as the 5th map, based on its promising test results and inclusion in tournament play this fall. However it was announced on 5th January 2026 that it would be replaced by phantombase:
"We were hoping for Qube to see more playtime ahead of QHLAN. However, the map has sadly only been played a single time this past month and with lacking adoption outside of one or two competitions.
Therefore we have made the last minute decision to change out the experimental Qube for the slightly more established Phantombase in the 4on4 draft tournament."
