Kombat Duel #5 is a 1on1 double-elimination bracket league run by 
alice, starting April 19, 2023. While match scheduling is done in old fashioned quakeworld manners, the maps are a mix of brand new kenya and standard maps. Each match always start with map Zeit (followed by normal pick order) which is a clever way of introducing the just released map into action, giving every player equal conditions. Join the DISCORD.

Info & Rules
- Map order: ZEIT - PICK - PICK - PICK - PICK
- Loser of first map pick 2nd map. If the score is 0:2 the loser of 2nd map picks 3rd map too. Otherwise take turns in picking.
- Start map is always Zeit
- Ping rules
- Keep ping difference even, more than 14 ping difference per player can be considered uneven. If server cannot be found where ping difference is even enough, then use cl_delay_packet to even it out until 14 ping difference.
- This is a EU tournament. European players should never require to play on higher than 52 ping, if someone has 52+ then find a server where opponent has minimum 38 ping. NA players can expect to play on a server where opponent have around 38-52 ping (usually ireland/london servers)
- Client: ezQuake 3.2.x or 3.6.x
- Ruleset: smackdown/qcon
- If both players agree, same map can be picked twice.
- Forfeiting first map in a series may result in disqualification from tournament.
- Disqualification from tournament if match is failed to be schedule after 4 days.
- Required to be reachable on discord for match scheduling.
- PayPal account required to receive transfer of prize money.
- Reporting: send screenshots in discord channel: #kombat, or message alice
