The first three (out of eight) groups have more or less finished all of their games. The following so far qualify for playoffs: ParadokS, Lurifix, Destrux, Adrenalin, riker, Ake Vader.

Here are some of the highlights:

I have sampled all the various stuff that Dreamhack has to offer (mostly hardcore digital pornography (nothing on stage unfortunately) and world of warcraft), taken a bunch of showers (which has a little sauna right there: nice!), tried sleeping in the sleeping areas a little bit, eaten some Swedish LAN cuisine (hot dogs and mishmash burrito) and I am still a walking zombie.

I am on location at Dreamhack, but first I would like to thank bps for taking us (me, reppie, LethalWiz) to this "Icebar" in Stockholm. It seems to be a global phenomenon and I first was weary of it, but it turned out to be a "cool" experience. Right after that, we boarded the swebus for a long bus journey across Sweden to Jonkoping, pronounced youngshOpping.

So, here I am in the "Gallerian" -- the Stockholm shopping mall...

So I am sitting in a cafe at the John F. Kennedy airport in New York City. Already past the checkpoints, security gates, and de-magnetization scans to ensure that everything about me is sterile and harmless before I embark to another country, and already I see the scandinavian faces in the Icelandair wing of Terminal 7. Not so many of them, but during an ordinary day in New York City it is not often that you see fat blond haired, blond bearded guys (with mass everywhere, not just their stomach) and stunning north european women. Or maybe it is just my imagination.

There are some new updates to the front page of quakeworld.nu, and there will be some more changes in the future that will give qwnu users a lot of insight into QuakeWorld.
