As the winter approaches, I want to do more quake videos. What do you guys think? They would be geared for newer players since I am half a noob these days myself

If you are interested, let me know here, and also what kind of videos you think makes the best sense to make.

Is it live commentary? Is it beginner guides for duel? Is it shorter clips? Demo reviews? Non-live commentary? Something else?

Last night I recorded a 4on4 match - two maps worth - along with the players' tactical voice comms in mumble. I focused on a single team each map.

It is a really interesting look into how a 4on4 team-in-training operates and plays an entire game start to finish. If you're interested in quakeworld 4on4, check it out.

Watch the games here:

LANs  /  27 Aug 2010, 14:14
The days of QH-Lan 2, 3, 4 seem like yesterday. Indeed, it is a a new day. The legends are gone. The new players are actually a level above and with a fresh style. (Of course none of it could have been possible without the legends! And to be fair, some legends remain active...)

The game has grown beyond all conceptions of its players, who deem it dead but still play it. So there's going to be a LAN for it and I'll be there With my photocamera!

After extensive selection, I have invited 16 teams to the the first ever 2on2 invitational (that I will host, anyway) I want to go over these teams, what I think about them, and what I think we might expect from them.

Remember: this is a best-of-5 2on2 tourney with the map pool: dm2, dm4, dm6, ztndm3, aerowalk, and the same map cannot be played more than once in a match. Late/unplayed matches will be punished immediately with disqualification!

Quake is dead. X is dead. We've all heard these type of sentiments, for pretty much everything. Insert anything in place of "X" and I'm sure you have heard it said, no matter how popular X is. Anyways, back to quake, it is probably a little more dead than other things, but I believe there is an alternative to quitting quake cold turkey, as some have done. First, we have to face some facts:

Includes an interview with Nabbe and 24 hour worth of pics. I had a good time doing commentary with 2GD for the quakeworld final, which was held in a giant movie theatre/stage arena. Behind us on a very large screen you could see both players POV as well as their faces (LocKtar forever locked in his gameface)

We should have access to the commentary audio (Zalon recorded it from the stream) and we will release a demo-pack as well. I am just chilling here, touring the lan with XantoM and playing all the different games. Starcraft finals are under way now so I am rushing to get these pics up and go watch that event. Bra bjud!

Semifinals are almost over. There were some surprises in the quarterfinals but in the finals we now have LocKtar vs nabbe. I am still drunk from yesterday and also suffering the effects of the not-very-theraputic chair sleep. So I didnt do much commentary or anything. Anyway nobody should really care too much except for the pics so go check them out

There are some interviews at the end also and Ill make more later ;D
