(for the CHTV newbie, beware: demo comments here on CHTV usually contain spoilers!)
Our dear aussie friends have updated us with the latest performances from down-under:

Mortuary (of latest
wart lan fame) faces off versus

Venom (
RL-only-Pov DM2 DM4 DM6),

Dirtbox(
Aero DM2 DM4 DM6), and Venom(
Aero DM2 DM4 DM6) again. All three players are arguably top3 on the Australian continent, dirtbox throwing his weight around on a stone-age computer, venom displaying the traditional fast paced aussie game, and mortuary adding to that a swede-like smoothness that undoubltedly makes a noticable difference for his favor.
I tried to pick out some one game, or at least some one match-pack (they are around 4 maps each) but I just couldn't isolate one or the other, even when I applied my patented Must Download(tm) criteria filter v1.0.. There some outstandingly competitive DM4 games (I'm not a fan of DM4, yet I was quite thrilled by each game). Also the first thing I noticed is how "unorthodox" (non-euro/n.a. style) DM2 and DM6 are played. It's like

Buzz Aldrin sinking 10,000 leagues in a bathyscape or

Jaques Cousteau landing on Mars: it's a whole different world!
..and then, a couple days later...
Tis the season to be quakingSeasons greetings indeed! Not sure
when exactly everybody around the world is celebrating Christmas (or
if, even), but I know more than half at least
do celebrate in some capitalistic fashion (heh heh) even if all it amounts to is getting a stuffload of goodies! And that's exactly what I've got right here.
Where was I. Ah yes, Christmas. I trust most of you have gotten a lot of stuff already, so I'll keep this short so you (and I) can concentrate on other things of more expedient importance (such as adult beverages and so forth)
This
DM3 E1M2 CMT3 (link down, use chtv link for demos) NQR div1 quarterfinal matchup between the svenska division 1 clans

GTG and

Fragomatic is quite the thriller indeed (here is the *spoiler!*
chtv thread, and *spoiler!*
nqr thread, and if you're missing a map, get it
here.) Complimented with concise yet highly informative commentary by

gaz of UK and osams fame (with the occasional funny soundbite) which allows most players who have not spent half a decade playing 4vs4 and therefore not being able to keep track of the mm2 spam, to keep a handle on all the action. Of which here there is
plenty.
Division -2 duel actionIn the holiday spirit I will refrain from posting any rape demos. I will, however, post the following
DM6 extravaganza between two professionals of the map:

dag and

griffin. I have not seen such gameplay before or since. This is a top example of saving the best for last.
Cheers,
Phil
