My brain is currently approching the state of mush. I have had no real sleep since I left NYC, and am in a dimly lit void surrounded by a sea of towers, many stacked one on top of another; computers of every kind and gamers of every kind, playing, sleeping, walking around aimlessly, chatting online, downloading videos by the terabyte, and hydrating with a huge variety of beverages. However, besides bps and reppie, I have not yet met any other QW tourney participants, so I am still looking forward to that.

Most of the admins seem to be missing in action, and so I have taken shelter with bps's SuddenDeath crew who has their own little 10-seat island in one of the airplane hangar halls. On our way here through the compound, we met Lornelin and a grand display with none other but DM4 being played -- QuakeWorld with all of its eyecandy glory.

I am dying for a shower, and, of all things, for an ethernet cable (my 3meter cable is not long enough) so that I can hook up and upload this proto-blog which currently only exists in notepad. In a couple of hours I will be clean, rested, playing tons of QuakeWorld, and uploading more pictures!
