It's day 1 here at QHLAN, most of the day and evening have gone with everyone getting comfortable here at the venue and perfecting their setup, playing some mixes and watching some quality matches being played online. And of course getting caught naked in the system-bilen!

After two really tight semi finals, the winners bracket final is now due:

bps vs Rikoll is scheduled for Sunday 30th of October @ 19:00 CET
locust vs lacsap is scheduled for Monday 31st of October @ 21+ CET
locust vs nitram is scheduled for Wednesday 2nd of November @ 21+ CET

Duelmania pt.2

A reminder for every quaker out there!

The 3rd of November QHLAN 15 kicks off in Stockholm, Sweden in association with Hazard. So far, the quakesignups reach 38 which is way lower than last year. This is most likely due to not as much hype as last year when QHLAN hosted together with Hazard for the first time. I believe everyone who was there could agree to the huge success it was, and the LAN was definetly one of the best QHLANs yet.

This LAN takes place the 3rd-6th of November, and there are currently at least 60 quakeworld seats, and more can be made available if necessary.

This week (of this month) on the Slipgate Report QuakePhil and ParadokS welcomes guests nitram and Rikoll to talk about their recent duelmania encounter, their experiences so far and what's to come.

It's time for another edition of the famous Ignition rookie tournament in QuakeWorld. The goal of the Ignition tournament is to introduce new players to this game under fun and fair, yet competitive conditions.

Locust vs bps is scheduled for Sunday 23rd of October @ 19:00 cest!

Nitram vs Lakso is scheduled for Tuesday 25th of October @ 21:00 cest!

In the other semi, bps is waiting for Andeh and Locust to finish their quarter-final. This might get closer than you think!

This week on the Slipgate Report QuakePhil and ParadokS welcome guests phrenic and Jari (commonly known as jj) Also we got a new logo thanks to dithes! It matches our new name, too! What a coincidence!

After a few days of divisional tweaking the 14th season of the European Quake League is now officially Live and you can start playing your matches.

It is planned for a short season length with teams scheduled to play on average 2 games per week. So its important that clans get going immeditately.
