Kombat Duel League is a 1on1 league with 16 players that will last approximately 1 month. The starting date is April 18. Match scheduling done in old fashioned quakeworld league manners. There will be both higher and lower groups which admin will seed appropriately. Maps are a mix of brand new kenya and standard maps.

Format

• Two div1 groups + two div2 groups.
  • 16 players total. (Div-1 4x2 + Div-2 4x2)
  • Top 2 from div1 groups proceed to playoffs
  • Bottom 2 of div1 + Top 2 of div2 proceed to qualifications
  • Winners of qualification proceed to playoffs.
• Group stage: round of robin, BO3
• Playoffs: single-elimination, BO5
• Map order:
  • Start map is always Zerg
  • Remaining map pool is: Bravado DM4 Aerowalk ZTNDM3
  • 2nd map picked by loser of 1st map
  • 3rd map picked by the other player.
  • In best of 5: 4th picked by whoever is down 1-2, and remaining map as decider.

  • Start map is always Zerg
  • 2nd map picked by loser of 1st map
  • 3rd map picked by the other player.
  • In best of 5: 4th picked by whoever is down 1-2, remaining map as decider.
• European tournament (other regions are welcome but EU servers are prioritized for lowest ping)
• Client: ezQuake
• Ruleset: smackdown/qcon
• Schedule times:
  • Group stage: Max 2 weeks time to schedule all 3 matches.
  • Playoffs: Max 4 days of scheduling per round.
• Reporting: send screenshots in discord channel: #kombat, or message  alice
