Format:
Single-Elimination
Kombat Duel is a 1on1 tournament starting February 1st, with split divisions depending on amount of signups.
For this tournament we will go for plenty of kenya including 2 completely new maps, Katt and Sabbath. Also, there is no picking preferences of maps - every match will follow a pre-determined map order.
It will be single-elimination to make the tournament extra intense and easy, where every match matters.

Format

- Every match follow this fixed order: KATT, SABBATH, POCKET, BRAVADO, AEROWALK
- Division and rounds depending on signups.
- All matches are BO5, Grand Finals are BO7.
- All regions(EU/NA) welcome, matches will be on even ping.
Maps
Rules
- Fixed map order. (no picking)
- All matches are Best of 5 (BO5). Grand Finals are Best of 7 (BO7).
- Every match follow this exact map order: KATT, SABBATH, POCKET, BRAVADO, AEROWALK
- Settings: Standard settings by typing "/1on1" | To add match tag type "/1on1 Kombat"
- Pause rules: Each player is allowed one pause per match, once you have used a pause and use it again, you have forfeited the map.
- Ping rules: Find a server that keeps both players around the same ping +/- 13ms, if no such server can be found, the lowest ping player will have to use cl_delay_packet to get closer to the higher ping player. If there's a dispute in what server should be used, contact admin on discord.
- Matches between NA/EU are suggested to play on UK/IE/NY servers.
- Players from Brazil playing in EU can request to play on Portugal server.
- However, if only one of the players from different regions are able to get below 110 ping on UK/IE/NY/PT servers the game cannot be forced to be played on a server for higher than 110 ping. (example: Brazil vs EU cannot be forced to Miami for 150 even ping, then it will be played on UK/IE/NY/PT with ~110 vs ~150 ping).
- Client: ezquake 3.6.x. or unezquake 1.3.x. For your own sake, update your client!

- Reporting: send screenshots in discord channel: #kombat. Or in the Kombat discord channel #reports.
- cl_idrive is NOT allowed, turn off your hardware SOCD functions if you have them.
