Dirtbox is hosting another tournament. This time it's a dm2 only duel tournament with a 32 player limit!

We've all seen the map. We've all played it. It's the only map in Quake which is played in all regular game modes - 1on1, 2on2 and 4on4. It's the kind of map that you either love or hate for duels. Being the only non-lg map in the duel map pool, it's a great map for EU vs NA encounters. Now it's time to duel it out on it and see who's got the rhythm required for them nifty dm2 moves.

Rules:
Claustrophobopolis (dm2) only!
All games are best of three on dm2, except for the best of 5 Grand Finals.
Rules are the same as any other duel tournament except for the map. Players are expected to play on a UK server in EU vs US match-ups.

The Draw isn't yet done Hooraytio. A draw gets automatically generated based on sign-up order but most likely it will be seeded and then an official draw made up!

Yeah I noticed, but since I never play duels Im gonna get seeded low and end up with some allstar. Only signed up to this since it isnt a shaftmap

This requires everyone to idle on a certain irc channel? You don't have mail addresses or irc channels in profiles. Oh and could you please add some test match reports on the site, so we can see how they look.

mipa - it is a double-elimination tourney. You can send players a private message via the tourney website and they will get an email notification.

But how do the scores look like? Are there unique pages for matches or are they just simply "this guy won"? I enjoy browsing through old tournaments and checking matches with screenshots and comments.

This for example is not pleasant at all and I was wondering how this new system works. Again, could you submit a test report on some random game so we could see how it functions or would that cause problems?

challonge has an optional setting where you can allow attachments to the match report - I have this enabled but i won't know what the result will be until i start it.

If someone would fix wiki.quakeworld.nu then I would happily create a page with results and scores there. I can't register a new logon and my old login gets a DB error.

Yeah. I thought I had fixed my mouse problems but apparently not. It would be much too frustrating to have your mouse freeze randomly during an official game.
