ClanWarz: the Grand Final!!
This is it - you've waited more than 2 long months to find out who the best team of ClanWarz is. The clans of Satan's Soldiers and Fusion will clash for glory and fame in the first edition of ClanWarz, a newly-emerged mid-season league. Which clan will get the honour to take the title home? Finally, the ultimate piece of the QuakeWorld TP puzzle will be revealed this Sunday at 20.00 CET

Satan's Soldiers commanded by Milton - arguably the best TP and all-round player QuakeWorld has to offer at the moment - seem as the most consistent and successful team of this season of ClanWarz. Milton teamed up with Kingpin "The nightmixes Hero", powered by Darkki "the dm3 powerhouse" are able to rain a rocket shower and inflict heavy damage on every opponent that stands in their way. This team lost only 2 maps in the 1st round (e1m2 and dm3 both to Slackers) and one e1m2 to Fusion in the 2nd round. Fusion on the other hands, gained strength during the regular season as the games progressed. The lost 5 maps in the 1st round and 4 in the 2nd. However, as the team managed to synchronize, their TP routine improved greatly. Their superstar and MVP is Nitram aka Valla who is a real dm3 master. If you wanna see what he's capable of, just go back to the recent semifinal demos vs the Mighty Slackers when he put up a brilliant performance on dm3 turning game around as many lost faith in Fusion. The team lost Slabi and Tom during the regular season but managed to sigh up Chris aka Serox who turned up to be a great asset. These guys are heavy-hitters and really mean the real deal.

Both teams were wild-carded in QF. In the semis, the Miltons defeated Demolition Crew, while Fusion after a great series last Sunday sent Slackers into oblivion. If you wanna re-live it, this is the original stream.

Probable line-ups:

Satan's Soldiers: Milton, jebbis, Diki, Darkki
Fusion: moltas, nitram, Skillah, chris

Really awesome, I was a bit surprised to see that 3-0 win. To be remembered that performance of yours Fusion.

Gonna ask Zalon about that commentary pack with demos.

People complaining about darkki timeouts, even though SS had replacement for him the whole time? And claiming that is the reason for the loss is mostly due to those factors, specially when coming from members of that team itself, is abit low.

Yeah I know kp, you mean it humorously, but I'm pretty sure you feel theres a bunch of reality to it as well and felt the need to point it out. Squeeze played all of the maps with 130+ ping, and spiking to 160 several times. Keeping his play at this level with that ping, combined with fusions great play during these maps, deserves more credit than just being laughed away with silly comments about how bad the situation was for SS or that luck would have changed it.

drama hehe

well i wanted to play but not my decision to make :S

and I do think that if he hadnt timed out at all it would have made a big difference,

not a 100% win but a big difference, timing out stacked with quad etc

and darkki is better than me on e1m2 but they had to take me because of his timeouts at last like a last chance,

it was a nice e1m2 i liked playing it even losing, but still sad to see the first 2 maps like that ...

GGs still

Id rather have 1 timed out darkki on dm3 than 10 kingpins on e1m2!

Having one of the key players constantly timing out is really demoralizing in a game like this. It's really stupid to compare that to Squeeze's ping, because he always plays with that ping. Fusion could play their normal game, -SS- could not. No one said that it cost -SS- a win, only that it ruined the first 2 rounds, which it did. Consider the tables turned, Valla timing out with full gear in first 2 maps and then sitting on the bench for the last map...
