DreamHack - Commentary Pack

So DreamHack Winter is over, and we got to see

Druidz take the gold. Now if anyone would like to see it all again, or if some of you poor people out there missed the action the first time. You're in luck, as promised - a complete pack of all the commentary done for the QuakeForever 2on2 tournament.

This pack features nothing less than 18 maps in 5 matches.

The group games and bronze match are commentated by our very own

Phil, and for the final it's the wonder voice of

James "2GD" Harding with

Peppe by his side.

Remember to check the readme's for information on how to sync the mp3's with the demos.

Also there is some problems during dm4 and dm6 of the bronze game due to the DreamHack QTV being unreachable. Some parts of final dm6 game is also missing due to problems with the stream, this is however only a short period.

But even with the missing parts, the mp3s should still sync with the demos if you follow the instructions.

I'm sorry on the delay of this pack, but the problems with the bronze match and the final made it a pain to sync the mp3's... and then there was this whole problem with the filesize and chtv

This tourney was hot. The Q3 also! I was going to do finals commentary, but when I heard 2gd was doing it on dreamarena, I didn't want to distract from it, and I'm sure it is a great listen! Must download ;>

A problem people experienced on QTV was the Dreamarena commentary/QTV sync problems. Had that been possible to fix by pausing the mvd stream?

I had it on even if it wasn't in synch with what you saw on QTV - the commentator buzz made the experience feel much more epic.

Ake, in the past you could pause an mvd stream with demo_setspeed 0, but it's broken in current build, and only pauses some aspect of the game, eg. the shaft.
