Troublesome PL for Swedes
Yesterday we saw the third Swedish national team, Sweden C, take on Poland A in Quake Nations Cup group D. It was a game that ended in Swedish favour, but that had a quite uncertain outcome as the Polish team secured the second map, DM2, at an early stage.
Poland [1:2] Sweden
DM3: [108:243]
DM2: [220:187]
E1M2: [125:291]

It was predicted to be a quite fierce battle between two pretty good teams, although the greatest fear in team Sweden was what server the game had to be played on. The teams agreed on Dybbuk servers being a suitable battle ground, and the show was on.

Both teams arrived with pretty much their best lineups, although Mm was nowhere to be seen for the Swedish team. In Poland we saw Insane making a slight comeback after having been out of the loop for a while and under the circumstances he seemed fairly hot.

The Swedes managed to get a grip of DM3, winning by a 150 frags margin in the end with the Slacker player Krab dominating the map with his 71 artistic frags. On DM2 we all know that the Polacks are hotter than on any other map, and boy did they show the audience what DM2 is supposed to look like! (although certain people in the Swedish team would call it all "repeated kurwa luck" Team Poland basically ended the game in the first ten minutes, when Sweden finally managed to secure the water area and run the quads. By the time when Sweden got the upper hand and managed to secure the whole map it was too late - Poland could just chill out and avoid getting spawnfragged, and the map score was equalized. Former Hard Guns Crew dynamic duo Insane and Billy lead the way with their 61 and 60 frags respectively.

At the end of DM2 Poland suggested a decider on DM3 - a suggestion that wasn't appreciated by the Swedes who prompted for E1M2. The teams entered the Castle of the Damned, Sweden started fragging and never looked back. Slackers duo The Evil Dog and Krab both gathered the eightballs - 88 frags each.

The lineups for both teams can be seen below. As stated before, the server played on was Dybbuk (89.149.194.72:27600).

Slabiutki
Billy

These reports aren't as content rich as i'd like, but i think the scores, lineups and name of server (for mvd purposes) are enough for most people as the tournament website isn't always that up to date.

Me too. I won't report games i haven't seen though, and i definitely won't waste my time watching demos of the not-so-hot-games.

I wonder where all admins are tho.

Well thanks for the report!

I would say, that PL team secured DM2 map in first 10 minutes, but next 5 minutes also belonges to PL. SWE team started to breaking PL domination, but it was still PL time. last 5 minutes was SWE domintaion, PL did get only something about 5 frags in that last 5 minutes!

So last 5 minutes was realy SWE domination, but it was funny to watch PL team says (I am PL too, so I translate:
<Insane> - shit
<Insane> - a little fuckup
<Insane> - B)
<Billy> - we may chat
<Billy> - at least
<Billy> - so what about your girlfriend Insane?
....

LOL that was realy funny
