Was this indeed the 'wet dream' I've read about for fps gamers? I mean, I never had the experience of smooth quake, because when I still had a crt I didn't know about tweaking settings and when I did, I already had a tft.

I also see other Vision Master Pro's for sale second hand. I guess the 'pro' is better then a non-pro Vision Master? Anybody know? I had a Vision Master 1451 once which I had running on 120hz...just because it could (again, I didn't know about quake settings at the time). And now I see one again for sale.

However, this Pro 514 is apparently able to do a freaking 200hz at lowest res and 1600x1200@100hz. That seems pretty decent But the factory preset charts show lower specs... but I guess these can be overridden. Here's the .pdf:

Not sure yet what they current owner asks for it though... And not sure whether should buy a crt since I'm a casual quaker... but I admit I'm a bit curious about the experience And the 120hz lcd's are just too expensive imo, even second hand, although the power usage of this 514 beast is no joke
