At this point, I should really consider a name change to, "The Super Noob Who Doesn't Know Anything About Quake" Anyway, Now I have hud trouble. I am trying to figure out where to put the file (its a .wad) and how to activate it, but I've tried very hard but couldn't figure it out. Please help me. Thanks.

P.S I know I should be going to the live chat box for help, but im too lazy

Name the file gfx.wad and place it in your qw-folder (example: D:\Quakeworld\qw).

Are you using GL Quake with 24 bit hud textures, remove the 24 bit ones and it will use the graphics in the gfx.wad instead, or try gl_no24bit 1 should also work, but maybe you want some nice effects/textures ingame.
