proper? firefox3 (in the current code) already uses less ram and is faster than opera. please go and use Internet Explorer.

But i still prefer Opera, simply because i've never catch any ad-aware or other s*** with it, and this happened with other browsers.

I know many people who switched to Opera from Firefox, and none of them returned to Firefox. Matter of taste, but everytime i use Firefox it almost feels like it's... crippled?

On topic: It's really no big deal to click on one link, even if you not going to use software anyway. So, why not?

Don't get me wrong... I like FF and I also think it is a good browser, I like every browser that doesn't destroy the Web, like MSIE does. It's just that I think that Opera is even better. Anyway, I will download FF3, even on download day. :p

I'm surprised by all the bitterness here, Mozilla project is a non-profit organization, the browser itself is free, open-source and more than that, it's GPL (that's 3 different things). All of that quite good reasons to support it especially if you are a QuakeWorld player.
On the other hand supporting it only because of that and not taking into account other things like all the background stuff that other vendors are doing to push web development forward might be a bit short-sighted attitude.
Personally I use Opera since it's version 3 (that's around 1999) and I am not going to change that even after ff3.

But it's interesting how this situation (group of people willing to show their support and a group of people willing to show their bitterness) repeats in many different areas of human activities :-)

It's a concept thanks to which you are still able to play QuakeWorld, otherwise this game would be dead. By supporting ff you support the concept.
The bitterness is in explicitly saying you will not take part, because there is no logical need to say that explicitly, you either take part or you don't.
