yay oldman!

unfortunately i still have resolution problems with this new build. after starting up and selecting 1440x900 (native) resolution i noticed this

the "0 Hz" just seemed odd

after starting i just typed "map dm4" and i get this

this was just a very quick first test, also i'm installing leopard today, maybe it will make a difference

thanks for your work.

edit: didn't read all of the first post, i guess this is a general problem with the ezquake builds on mac, sorry for posting it here. forgot to add: i'm on a mpb 2.33

where can i get a copy of that:

you want the old ezquake alpha? may i ask you, what for? the newer releases are much more stable and nicer.

not sure if the older versions are at ezquake.sf.net, i can look for the old .app if you really want it..

edit: just in case, here's a link to a current version of ezquake.

the reason is, i have downloaded numerous configs and i cant up the resolution or image quality of ezquake-gl.. im runnin mac 2.4 2gb (8 months old) .. and it feels like my client (1.9.2) and previous 1.9.1 were running in software mode...

how ... do i run ezquake in a higher resolution to i can appreciate GL for what it was designed... i'm happy to screen print if you wish.

Gravity.

Thanks.

update: reason i wanted your alpha was for the launcher... i couldnt find that anywhere and i dont know how else to up the resolution and/or quality of my graphics.

I guess someone other than me has posted this, but im asking again in that case.
Whenever I try to play quakeworld from a mac, the mouse sensitivity feels like is at the very bottom. (yes I have max in desktop settings)
to reach my normal sens of 6 i need to change it to like sensitivity 36 which makes it all very very choppy.
I have also tried USB overdrive to mix with the Hz, which seemed to work, but making the mouse still choppy and not precise (this is not a solution to the problem at hand)

My question therefor is: Is there any easy fix for this matter?

Are you are saying that you want the gfx startup screen to select a resolution? If it does not show up on start you need to hold down ALT, Option or Apple key (I always get kind of confused with Apple's branding of these keys) when starting EZQuake.

If you download the EZQuake client only you will (more or less) get the game as it was published in 1996. Perhaps you want to look at nQuake (nquake.com) which is EZQuake bundled with high quality textures (and models i think?). Either way.. until you do any screenshots we don't know what 'software like' actually means in terms of quality..
