I'm leaving this up for a few hours/days, this is instagib implemented in ktx... my way (lame coding and not ktpro like).
Like it, dislike it? Talk about it

To play, just toggle insta_gib (SG/SSG/OFF)

Weapons:
- Axe and modified SG or SSG (shoots 1 centered bullet)

Damages:
- Axe, SG or SSG and your feet (stomps!) gib instantly enemy
- Other damages unchanged (fall/lava/doors/telefrag...)

Others:
- Extra gibs for extra pleasure
- pick up 5 backpacks and get invisibility for 20 seconds (health then drops to 200 instead of 250 when spawning)
- Added 2 possibilities : SG or SSG instagib
- SG/SSG gives 1 point, Axe 2 points and STOMP 4 points
- Armors and Powerups not showing

PERHAPS too quick reload

and 2 bugs i noticed:

* spawned INSIDE someone?
* lava doesn't hurt me!

Lava is a mistake as water and such but I will correct tomorrow.
Spawned inside someone: noticed it too but only on E1M7?

I'm thinking of using the SSG instead of SG for reload time but to keep the point radius of shot.

another bug?

stats showed about 4% hit rate on sg

(should it really show "sg"?)

i am sure i hit more than 4% of my shots

Also, axe gibs too and STOMP does it even
I'm planning/thinking about 3 points for axe and 5 for stomp or something...

Guess:
the weak accuracy is prolly cause sg rounds contains 25 pellets (?) and it is enough if one of these hits the opponent to make a kill, but it would only be counted as u hit one out of 25 shots.

Or maybe im just wrong.

in some very early q3a screenshots there was a rail with a nice splash upon impact. I think this rail would be the nicest. Prolly hard to do tho.

Would be good if either the backpacks were removed (as they are useless) or there would be rewards for picking up say 25 backpacks (as long as the rewards don't change the balance badly like gay q3 railarena where the good player gets better and better because of the perks).

I think picking up like 25 backpacks should either allow you to take a hit without dying, or be a malus because you are too good

you could increase the spread with every pack picked up. like first pack 2% + second 4+% third 8%+ fourth 16%+ would be fun if everybody starts to attack somebody who is overpowered or smth like that.. :F

Good idea but considering that you don't know who is who... might not be such a good idea...
But to include random deviation of 2%, 4% and more each time might be good to balance the game

I played it with SSG instead of SG and... don't find it so good.
I mean, QW is ALL about gamespeed compared to all the other games... and I think SSG is less fun than SG cause SG is fasteeeeeer.

What do people think?
