No, QW is much better choice for this tournament IMO. Like CPMA instead of vQ3. However, it's a shame that they didn't bother to get known "traditional" QW rules and community better...

CPMA is the mod, CPM is the gameplay with bunnyhopping, rampjumping etc. They're using CPMA vq3 at Quakecon.

I was joking about Netquake. Not playing with the common QW stuff (like skins etc) sounds exactly like the Netquake-scene attitude (QW IS CHEATING!!11).

I always thought that the main netquakers attitude is: "I live in NA, we have best internet connection in the world, i don't need f****** prediction or better QW netcode!"
Seriously, it's silly that there are people who didn't see that we play QW because of its gameplay, speed and physic, not because of outdated netcode (even if it's still better than netquake one)...

I'm afraid next thing they will consider as cheat will be custom map textures or v_ models or g_ and b models skins or something like that...

I'm curious about how these cheaty skins and crosshair look like

Q4 = fox (pretty equal, could go either way)

Q2 = fox

that was in the 1/8 finals

Its Semifinals now:

Toxic vs DaHang
Fox vs PURRI

Fox will beat purri in QW
purri will win q2

and coin toss for q3/q4 and I think fox will take it home

Kov won aero vs fox 28-7 or so

fox's aim was really beastly

Hopefully by including all games in one they will bring attention towards QW!

Seriously though, doesn't it have some kind of cvar. ranges, like some kind of rules of what's allowed and what isn't?

All commands are allowed (so forward rj is) but not a single modified file is allowed. Players had to play on the crappy ezq 1.8 graphics when they're used their own for years D:! Oh well, not much you can do there

Thump4 lost aerowalk to DaHang (Q4 and Q2 player). LOL!
also DaHang beat Q2 legend PURRI. LOL AGAIN!

Thump4's worst map is aero by far (when I first played him, I lost 14-11 on aero and like 30+ to 2 on dm4/6 but now my games are closer vs him). Dahang ONLY practiced aero. Dahang has also been one of the best Q2 players for a while
