The Golden All-Star Exhibition Match is a standout event of EQL Season 23. Inspired by traditional all-star games, it showcases top-tier players who step outside their regular line-ups to form new and exciting team constellations for a BO5 showdown. However, instead of stacking the roster with only the absolute best, the format ensures balanced representation: each of the top 8 clans is given one seat per map, rotating players freely.
The structure is rooted in EQL23’s unusual division format, where Division 1 was split into two groups, A and B. The match capitalizes on this by fielding one team from the top 4 clans in Div1A and one from the top 4 in Div1B. The result is a high-level clash between the best from both sides of the bracket.
