As always, I appreciate the continued development of this client, which for the most part "just works" and looks good with minimal tweaks.
However, the addition of
/cl_remote_capabilities in this release was a bit of a shock for those of us who usually play on certain TF servers (e.g. MegaTF Co-Op). No longer can certain weapons, monsters/powerups, or map features be counted on to disorient or knock the player around. Users now just get a bunch of console warnings instead.
I wish there were a better way. I mean, this client now differs from all others in that by default, it makes players immune to those challenges. I doubt hardly anyone is going to go to the trouble to use a config file to redefine cl_remote_capabilities to include the following (e.g., as this probably not complete):
