What timezones are standard for advertising scheduled events in Brazil and Australia?

In Europe we always use CET (e.g. NQR final @ 21CET!) and for North America it seems that EST is used most.

But what are the abbreviations for Brazil and Australia?

although we have 4 different timezones in Brazil, we use Brasília's time (official). GMT -3 :-)

Should be Eastern Standard Time or something. (EST, newbs)
