would it be possible to re-code the Qonquer progs to qwprogs? Or is it way too much work?

That mod sounds like Bloodfest which some KTX servers support.

It seems that there is at least one server running this mod. So i guess it is possible.

Nice find. But can't connect to it. Can't dl *1 file. But who runs that server?

I talked to Horza who is running Quake.no servers. He said that the server is running FTEQW which supports Quake's progs.dat so there is no need for qwprogs.dat. I guess that there is no Qonquer qwprogs.dat around but it might be possible to compile it from sources which seem to be included in the zip. How it might be done is beyond me
