ezQuake Windows 2.2 (2013-12-10) -> UNSTABLE
It's a simple request... Please, take it off from http://ezquake.sourceforge.net/
Or make it "BETA/ALPHA/NIGHTLY" again...

Because, I've tested OVER and OVER again.... and IT'S SKIPPING FRAMES (like freezing for 0.1 seconds), every 30 seconds, or less...

I've tryied to use it, over, and over, and over again... and IT'S REAL -> 2.1 or 2.1.1 DOESN'T FREEZE, the problem is with 2.2 Windows version...

Sorry Dimman, or whoever is building it... I appreciate the effort, but it's bad....

Mihawk just have pointed to me that I was using cl_nolerp 1
and the default is zero

I'll try again, to play with 2.2, maybe this command solves it...
(but why in 2.1.1 it doesn't make a difference? strange...)

Maybe a more reasonable thread topic would have been describing a unique problem and asking for help. There's no need to be quite so hostile.

I doubt the problem would be nolerp, but I question why that would be enabled at all. You should post your config and specs if you are unable to resolve this. I don't think there are any active developers left, but maybe someone else could help.

sorry, I was excited & mad... but just becouse I've tryied so many times the 2.2 betas/nightlys/alphas/pre-alphas, and ALL of them were buggy (skipping/freezing)....

and now after the "official" 2.2 arrived, I've stopped worring...., THEN-> (after many many buggy matches) I've realised (remembered), it was 2.2's fault!

My guess is that you have some specific nVIDIA profile/preferences for ezquake-gl.exe and you've named the 2.2 binaries something else.

If not, just use divide and conquer method to find out exactly in which version the problem is introduced. Just because you ask so nicely, let me know the exact version where the problem first appears and I'll see if I can find something obvious.

Ok, I haven't tested more yet, but i'm playing for a week with my own latest build ( 2.2 branch ), I've compiled with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, and it's working great!

after I builded it, it became: ezQuake 2.2 stable (build 4424)

don't know if the official 2.2 had a problem here, or it was noobness configs of mine, but if it had a problem ---> NOW IT'S A LUXURY!!!!!!!

sorry/thanks!

Well just realize that you are the only one having these problems right now so it's absolutely most likely your system that is the problem. There are not really any big changes between 2.1.1 and 2.2 either.
