Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with low fps on Nvidia optimus graphics on my laptop.
Details are on the link here: https://sourceforge.net/p/ezquake/bugs/549/
I dont have any other laptop to test this on. Can you please try on yours and confirm/not confirm the issue?

I have an old Dell laptop from 2009 with Nvidia graphics that can get about 231fps or 308fps solid. Just make sure you:
  • Set all gl_particle_ commands to 0
  • Set r_particle_count to 0
  • Set r_drawviewmodel 0 (the new graphics in nQuake kill fps if this is not set to zero)
  • Enable simple items (cant remember the command) as the new 3D models for weapons also kill fps

For maximum smoothness set cl_maxfps to a multiple of 77 (the highest you can without dropping frames)... such as 77, 154, 231, 308, 385, 462 etc

His integrated Intel gfx card gives him better performance than his nvidia he claims. The problem is with 99.9% certainty with his system.
