[Q] How do I join a lan server with nQuake? I can create the server on on PC, but how do I connect with PC2? Any where to put to IP or something like that?

Any help would be nice, thank you.

if you want to play in a lan, better use mvdsv server

get the files here:

http://qw-dev.net/projects/mvdsv/files

direct links:
windows
linux

then connect. normal ports in quakeworld servers are:
27500, 27501 (...)
never argue with an idiot. they'll bring you back to their level and then beat you with experience.

Got it, working just fine now thank you :-D

1) I click start -> write "cmd" and then "ipconfig" and write down the IP listed as "IPv4"

2) I start PC1 and goto console on PC2 and write "connect 192.168.0.10" without the port nr

3) It is working just fine !!!

Thank you everyone, you are just so nice and helpfull in here.

connect ip:port (if no port specified, it tries 27500 which is default).
(when on a server, you could write 'f_server' to see exact ip:port for current server.)
