Anyone know where to DL qw skins?

In the old days there were TONS of skins.

Anyone kept them all?

In my humble opinion, my skins are the best (I use them for more than 10 years)
I made them simply using Paint Brush, and thinking 100% in the efficiency. (the most easy to see in the dark places, or corners)

Personally I use BLUE for the enemies (couse I think it's the most UNIQUE color, that can't be confused with ANYTHING in ALL MAPS, besides QUAD..)

team:

I also have the other 2 options, the DUCK in RED, and the simple in BLUE:

team: http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/1475/skblue.png

(Final observation) I had to convert this images from .PCX to .PNG couse imageshack.us don't support PCX...
I don't know the difference in ezQuake, but I've always used the .PCX ones, so here is the link to this 4 skins in PCX:

as you can see, the "corners" of the enemy are all white (the shoulders, and the foots), so even if he's hidden you probably will be able to see him...

(and Again: this was made thinking 100% in efficiency, and of course a little fun)

I've never seen custom skins on xs4all. Am I doing something wrong or is it disabled on the server?

Custom skins have to be stored locally on your side. There is the possibility to download skins from the server but I don't know any that provides a decent list of custom skins. Also there is no versioning so you never know if the skin is still the same or has been modified.

If you have the skins locally and people have the "skin" variable set correctly they will be displayed with the appropriate skin.
