Hello.

I've put up a new nQuake website, since I finally got 700 SEK in AdSense payments (going into nquake.com domain payments). And with that payment I don't need Google Ads anymore, so I've moved on to use flattr instead. If you use it and like nQuake, please flattr me

nquake.com

I hope you like it.

The website was designed and made by blaps and delete. Thank you guys.

I'll fix that ParadokS!

Currently though the trailer is only available in 240p.

The site doesn't really say what it is about - there's no mention of QuakeWorld, what downloading nQuake actually gives you, and so on. It is partially ok for somebody who has been said "go to nquake.com and download", but for somebody who would like to know what he's doing maybe some "about" section would be fine?

I thought the trailer was supposed to show what nQuake is?

For a beginner, knowing that nQuake is not a QuakeWorld client, that it's actually a package, and why it's a good thing to have a package in QuakeWorld, is not that important, imo.

With this clean design, I'm going for simplicity. Absolute simplicity.

Why on earth this is made in 240p I do not know. The clips are taken from Kyo one or something. One of the greatest QW videos made. We had it on the now old qwnu site under videos. In 60 fps 720p I believe. So In the near future we should get that trailer upgraded to that at least

Did a remix of the nQuake trailer using kyo.one footage, guess you could use this until someone makes you a new trailer.

Dunno if it's possible to replace a video on youtube, to keep the comments/views? Anyways, here you go: QuakeWorld Teaser Trailer

You will however need to use the old embed code instead of the iframe one to get it to default to 720p. The new player will choose the resolution matching the size of the player window.
