Sign ups for a new 2on2 QW DM tourney have opened at the PIC3 site. Depending on the number of sign ups there will likely be a few divisions separated by skill. I am hopeful 20 to 40 teams will sign up, but ATM sign ups seem sparse. EU players can enter, but I have no decided yet on how the ping issue will be dealt with. Most likely there will be cmd minping 50 or fair pings.

There will be some small prizes graciously donated by Drako. First place will be awarded $100 per person, second place $50 per person, and third place $1(aka lol dollar) per person. This is for a grand total of $302.

The tournament is likely to feature the maps of DM2, DM4, DM6, ZTNDM3, and AEROWALK plus maybe a few customs. Perhaps different divisions will vote on their own map pool. Teams will compete via groups stages before advancing to the single elimination playoffs. You can find more details at the PIC3 site.

I'd like to once again thank ult, skeLman, and do7hedew(aka white dog[D_P]) for making QW.US possible. Drako especially deserves major kudos for putting forth some prize money.

Yeah but europeans are allowed as well. I guess euros have server disadvantage though unless it's two euro teams playing.

I am seriously thinking of allowing minping for EU vs NA matches up to 105ms or so.

EDIT: Actually I have gone ahead with this. Now in the rules.
