I used Primevils 24 bit base skin to start with.

I just started playing quake again after about 10 years, didnt even know there were 24 bit skins until a couple weeks ago. I always liked making skins so I couldnt resist doing some more in 24 bit. Next skin that I'm almost done with is the B.A.T. from the 80s GI JOE cartoon.

That's cool, you should just remember to put em on the gfx site, so people can easier find them. That way they also won't disappear when your image host decides that your image is too old.
