Instead of having such a hostile attitude, maybe it's nice to know why you have to register again: the concept for gfx.quakeworld.nu was first made in qwdrama. In fact, the layout and much of the code is still from qwdrama. So when that site went down, the people who donate their free time and money integrated it to qwnu, albeit not completely, probably because it would have been a lot more work. So "well fuck that then" maybe isn't the most appropriate response to a free site which asks you to take 10 seconds and register But hey, it's your work and you don't have to. Just letting you know that that attitude doesn't help.

If you take that as hostile that's up to you.
But since you brought it up you have to agree that it's stupid, I thought the whole point of having everything in one place
was just so you can use it all without the need for 12 different accounts. Making a site read usernames from a different db I don't see as "a lot more work" but as always with the qw community you say that, then you make something a lot more advance in some other place. I love the community and I also donate my free time every chance I get. Since our biggest goal is to get newer players here I don't see why fixing all the sites to one username isn't a priority.

But hey, fuck it, I knew someone would upload it anyway, thanks defcon.

Have been afk with a lot of irl crap lately but i managed to sort out the update i started on last year.
It's just a small update with some crosshairs, a new hud and I re-did the readme for nquake users.

With regards to the screenshot of the SPEC Hud that anni posted; how did you get team names in the tracker box to show as colored? (IE: Exxus is blue, Maniac is red)

Just tried it.

It looks good! but a bit blurry and with gl_smoothfont 0 looks very low quality actually. Maybe its my gfx settings.

I really like those numbers.

512x512 looks very sharp now!

This is one of the few "normal" looking charsets out there so thank you for that

Hmmm, I think the "brown" letters are to red and the letters are to far apart which makes it not easy to read in game.

The red I can work on but the spaces is just how the charset system is, to make the less apart i have to make really fat characters and that would look stupid.
Also your conwidth makes it even worse, you use some calculated widescreen version of 640 right?
