Ok, im planing to buy a nvidia graphic card soon... But i need some tips of what and what not to buy when it comes to playing qw with ezquake.. Heard that older graphic cards is better than new onces alot of times?

Anyways, tell me wich card you got, how stable it is and maby how much fps you get in different settings!

GTX460. Real stable, got enough FPS
I had a 7900GTO earlier, was stable too.

I'm having a feeling that the graphics part (in clients) soon will be a bit refreshed anyway..

Dual 9800 GX2 (4 gpus). Stable 600 FPS (think I limited it to 600 to remove any fluctuations). Thats at 1680 * 1050 with 2 or 3 extra monitors (depending on mood) all at same res or greater.

I did have a few problems when I first got them but that was due to drivers (didn't have a choice about driver version because older ones didn't exist ;-)).

I have GTX280 and get 1001fps at 1680x1050, with the exception of QTV and dark-terror-ffa.bsp where I get fps drops.
