How can i play the quake1 singleplayer with the original music with the quake1 cd inserted using ezquake?
I am very new to quakeworld so forgive me if this is maybe some kind of strange question, but i used the search function and did not find any results.
Thank you in advance!

That's a good question, I am not sure if it will play the tracks automatically and in order.

You might have to download the soundtrack and play them on the mp3 player with ezQuake.

I Googled the ezQuake command list and found this: http://ezquake.sourceforge.net/docs/?commands#cd

Whack -cdaudio on your command line and that might do it. Failing that use the command "cd #" where # is the CD track to play. I would imagine ezQ will handle it as the original game did though, there's no reason to change that behaviour.

Oh and the command "bgmvolume" changes the volume for CD music.

Thank you for your quick reply - works fine!

Music from CD may not play if you have several CDs in the system (virtual drives).
Workaround is to assign another letter to CD with quake music to make it first.
