Last time I went to QHLAN i was picked up by lorn's father (i think) at the central train station. He showed me his card: "Quake Driver", ROFL i couldnt belive my eyes

Well if i go i guess I'll take a bus or train. But i cant really say if i go yet, need to wait until like late october before i decide, but by then i guess all spots are taken. Would be cool if it worked out. I got a laptop and could just rent a monitor so it would be no hassle at all attending.

Thanks for answering peppe

that wasn't his father, that was Arne
Hope you'll get the time to attend

Actually, taking the train to Stockholm central is way easy, after that take the commuter train to Handen and we'll definately be able to pick you up
Everyone has to remember that, Arlanda is on the other side of Stockholm, we may not be able to make 5 trips/day :F

I guess we'll make a schedule for departing cars from Arlanda to the LAN so we can save some hassle with phonecalls and such

Ok, Sassa couldn't make it. So, 1 spot from the very south of Sweden still left in our car + one laptop. Anyone up for it, lemme know.

It seems like I'm actually coming, but I have to give some feedback on registering:

1. When you click register on the qhlan site, it takes you to the Swedish registering form.
2. The form doesn't state that all the fields need to be filled in.
3. Read the terms link takes to Swedish terms page
4. WTF is an ICE number? cba to google
5. Why do you need all that information from me?
6. When you're done, once again, you are treated to a page in Swedish (coming from Eng form).

Didn't pay yet, but an actual paypal link would be nice, so that you just click it and all the information is pre-filled.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm not sure if it is worth while to make those changes any more as probably most foreign ppl have registered, but I simply feel it's good to give feedback, at least then the people in charge know

Maybe it's just me and a couple of other people, but I don't like having my full name displayed on sites, especially in connection to my nickname. There's no real secret, they are just things I rather keep separate.

I haven't thought of that, I'll bring it up with the others and we'll see what happens but for now we keep the names and nicks on the same page.

To give some background, Swedes are used to have a lot of information public that to other might seam private. But I see your point, all are perhaps not okay with that.

To register you have to submit your personal identification number. I'm not that comfortable with that. Why is it necessary and is there a problem if I type i fictive number?
