We talked about a lot of times about the mouse' but what about the keyboards? are those also so important than the mouses? Is it important to use a 1000Hz usb keyboard instead of a 33hz ps/2? A razer tarantula, a razer lycosa or a logitech illuminated worth the money? what do u guys use to play?

Never changed my keyboardport polling rate, never heard of anyone else doing so either, So i cant see there being much of an advantage if any at all :F The cherry keyboard i have currently works fine, it has laptop keys (small depth) and nothing has gone wrong with it yet! (touchwood)

edit: I've been informed by a member of the QW High council, who for that reason alone shall stay anonymous, that all my USB devices are running at 500hz. But I haven't noticed any difference whatsoever, response time etc :<

The only thing to avoid is those keyboards that does not allow you to press enough keys at the same time.

From memory, PS/2 keyboards aren't polled, they work with interrupts and the low bandwidth of ps2 causes some delay that would roughly be equivalent to a usb polling of 300hz or something. something else to consider is switch debounce when releasing keys.
