I use white skins, so i always hate fighting against enemys who stand on top at sng. Hard to see them and hard to see where they strafe. (bit the same at aerowalk mega ya aera)
I heard some people have replaced them with just a black texture, how to do that? Finding the texture in id's paks and edit it? What are they called if so?

i have the same problem in dm3 [666] zone, and aero [sng] and [mega ya] zones

the texture in dm3 is sfloor4_4 and in aerowalk it's unnamed16.
if you're using 24bit replacement textures just replace the above textures with your own choice and remember to replace the *_luma files as well if they exist.

I had the same problem but switched from white enemy skins to neon green ones. You should consider this an option because DM3-SNG isn't the only area where such low contrast is an issue.

Create the new textures in an image manipulation software like Photoshop, GIMP or even Paint (if it just is a solid black texture it doesn't really matter), save it as sfloor4_4 as a PNG or TGA, then put it in the \qw\textures\ folder or \qw\textures\dm3\ if it just should be used in dm3.

Other things that might help
gl_fb_bmodels "0", no fullbright colors/textures in the maps, the lights seem to be more white on dm3 SNG though.
r_drawflat "2", flat textures just on floors/cealings, just works with trunk versions of ezQuake, newer than 1.9.2 and 1.9.3 beta.

Holy thread revival Batman!
So, my turn to face the "light fixtures" problem @ dm3 and aerowalk.

The dm3 problem is solved with a black texture, but now I need the name of the aerowalk one... does anyone knows it?
