Oh and peppe, was the misspelling of "oldschool" intentional or just a fuckup? I hardly saw it because of the heavy compression, but I could make out "oldshool quake" after doing some thinking.

I don't know ui, didn't look into it. A movie needs a name so I typed what first popped up, spelled right or wrong I don't care

perhaps 'efficient quad usage' would be a good one

i.e. see out 4v4 demos where quad was used best - either times when it was used to gain many frags or times when it was stolen and used to break a defence

I have to live up to my title, don't I?

And you won't vote for anything since you're not an admin.

read now, sorta gay to have a judge-team(let the people vote!) but I would have aqua
plz, what about a "whatever-you-want-comp?" so we don't HAVE to use a certain demo or certain loc or wtf in a movie

I like the idea of a default demo, but next time should be good have a greater number of POVs to work with, like a 4on4 demo!

How can you judge in a competition if there isn't a given topic? How could you compare a freestyle movie with a quadbore movie, for example?

You've got a point. Still, I like the idea of several people working with the same material - it gives some interesting angles.

Peppe you were adamant on IRC that there was never any point in watching a film more than once, so forgive me if I take what you say with a pinch of salt.

All I'm saying is: Look at pez's elephant. Looks kinda fullsize to me.

Not everyone needs to make movies 15 minutes long to squeeze in nice contents.

yeah.. the same material brings nice different angles

if you want to make a movie unrestricted you don't have to participate in a competition to do it..

was I talking quake-movies then? I can't recall since I watch the same movies over and over again 'til I get the need for something new/old and get it from blueyonder
ui: pez does this for a living too and to even give the chance for new moviemakers you would probably give them more than one demo, but whatever let's just pez win and go home

No, and nor was I. I'm just pointing something out, that's all...
