Is it in ezquake possible to set if it should use monitor #1 or #2?
Or is this up to the OS to decide?

It will use "primary monitor" as defined by the OS. I use UltraMon to switch primary monitor with a single click.

ah nice trick, I have really hated right-click desktop, properties, switch monitors, switch hz freq, load quake... cfg monitor sheez!

I tried the ultraMon.
Good application. Can do some other useful stuff also. Backgrounds etc..
