I've been wanting to do a clone of the famous Quake3 map Pro-Q3Tourney4 aka T4 for a while now. I love the layout, but I never liked how the railgun-heavy gameplay and lack of LG affected the players on this map. So I always wanted to make a version for QW which has the same kind of layout but of course instead of RG there is a LG.

I created a quick layout mock-up a month ago, and maybe you guys want to take a look at it. There are no details or textures yet but the layout is there.

See if you can play-test it with someone and post it on CHTV.

I know there's only one RL but try to play it anyway, and if the guy is camping RL try to get LG instead and pwn him that way.

Oh ye there are three wind tunnels on this map

See if you can find them :p (If you know the Q3 map you should know where they are)



I will make a quick demo later how to get around, unless someone beats me to it

ah that's the one. i saw some guy playing for hours on this at a game ceonvention. it's a good map for exhibition games imo.

hmm... this could have potential in QW, but with faster lifts and maybe teleporters instead of jumppads. Scale should be adjusted too, center room is a bit small compared to outer area.

Too bad little number of people care about new maps

Yeah, great 1on1 map. One of the best q3 maps.
Agree with Herb: teleports > jump pads.
