whenever i enter a tf server and join a team , the 'team' value never gets applied, only "latched", so the server checks for my team value, doesn't find one, and kicks me for "changing teams"

reconnecting doesn't apply the latched value either

any idea how to fix this?

probably a stupid idea but can you do something like "if bottomcolor=blue, set team=blue".
yes that doesn't really solve the problem but it could be a fix. i remember getting kciked from tf servers for "changing teams" but that was with ezquake and it only happened after playing for a couple of minutes.
