The textures are very nice, but do we REALLY need more Aerowalk textures? I wish people would start doing textures for all those maps that do not yet have any... There is a new thread for Aerowalk textures about every few months.

hahaha, then he must be very busy man - probably it'll took him about 20 years xD

@ Lightning Hunter: there's nothing wrong with it as long as it is quality work, like one Moon[Drunk] posted. Other popular maps also get new textures often, what's the point of making textures for map that is barely played?
I wish to see list of maps that are actually good, still played, popular and don't have custom 24-bit textures. I want to improve my skills in 2d graphic right now, and making textures is good excercise, so i may retexture some myself. If you have any ideas, post them, or send me pm.

I never said there was anything wrong with it. I simply stated that I wished texture artists as good as Moon[Drunk] would work on something that nobody has yet worked on. The other texture sets for Aerowalk are already faithful to the originals and high quality, so why create the same thing again? I applaud the work that Moon has done... I really do. I just feel like all the great talent is used on maps that already have great textures.

There are plenty of textures that need to be done/reworked. Just visit the Quake Retexturing Project and see how many textures are not yet done or need to be redone. There are also many textures that could be made for the Quake Misison Packs, which many people still play today (including myself). You should also check out my posts on this thread here: http://quakeworld.nu/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1743
I mentioned the Egypt/Maya/Rome themes that are used in the Quake Mission Pack #2, plus many very well known user-made maps that do not have any high-res textures created for them at all (with the exception of the few that RaRe made for Ultrav). RaRe was going to do them, but then disappeared. Creating textures for those themes would cover the Mission Packs + a lot of user-made maps.

There are also lots of skins that could be created for the original monster models in SP, which I know Moon Drunk could handle.

Actually Moon[Drunk] is one of the main contributors to the QRP project so he *is* doing all the maps.. i think.

I know it. But "all maps" include ones with custom texture wads (like quake 2) and there's too many of them.
