First post here. Recently pulled my old Quake CD out of a box and installed it.

Wondering if anyone has the old QuakeSpy client that shipped with ID's QW 2.3.0 download? It does not seem to be included with the download anymore - I would assume because GameSpy took it over.

I know there are other QW frontends - but I am old school and not yet ready to try ezQuake.

Thanks,
Scott

maybe i'm totally off but wasn't quakespy a server browser that you could also use to launch quake.exe with a command line? if that's what it was i would recommend the more recent "all seeing eye" server browser. ase does the exact same thing.

But quakespy isn't stuffed up with lots of unneccesary features.. All seeing eye sucks, quakespy rocked.

Yeah - QuakeSpy was for QuakeWorld. Really wish I could get a copy of that again.

latest one i can find is 5.3 which works if you manually add a working master server (master.quakeservers.net:27000). found it @ http://quake.perm.ru/files/qw0809.zip

on mli's quakeservers.net your server finding resource
never argue with an idiot. they'll bring you back to their level and then beat you with experience.

master.quakeservers.net has all the servers on quakeservers.net though. :-)
