Hi
I "upgraded" to 1.9 and the shaft sound is just a very LOUD hizzzz. It makes it implossible to play QW with the sound on. I tried to change Khz but thats not it.
Anyone?

I tried to downgrade to 1.8.2, but it di noit fix the problem.... annoying...

When I started qw after last summer, had the same shaft sound as you with my friends config. Never found out what was causing it before making my own config. Would be cool to know. Just curious.
Btw, it's not impossible to play with it. It just takes quite some time to get use to it.
Sound card:SB Audigy 2ZS
Os:WinXP
If no one comes with the solution, your fix will be making a fresh new config. You can save your binds and aliases.

just divide your config into halves then isolate which half causes it, then quarters etc.
