Been working on this for a while and think its as good as i can get it for MY needs. It doesnt have some of the reports i know some ppl use so dont get upset, just add it if u want And its not compatible with other players charsets so you want to make a seperate cfg for this. Its aimed to be used while playing with mates who can bother to take time to make an additional cfg

The goal has been quicker and cleaner messeges, and i have modified 2 charsets at this point for this.

The cfg is stolen and stripped and not cleaned up, wich make it ez to adjust and put leds and such back in if you want (my poor reason for lazyness ;D The original cfg i think is eq260.cfg http://www.badongo.com/file/4932129


Some of the changes from the original cfg other then icons that might be good to know:
removed the nicks while in 2on2, it shows cells and rox when u dont have a weapon, i doesnt got "safe", only need which shows safe when packing, doesnt show nick when pointing and reporting nmy powerups, guess there was some more too, cant remember atm, pls find out

Use a bind to change between your configs if you want to use this.
(I got: bind ? cfg_load hoder2 and the line: loadcharset "def" in my regular cfg, and bind ? cfg_load hoder and the line loadcharset "hdrdef" in my iconcfg)

Thx to murdoc, johnny_cz, biomass and all for helping me make this

Hopefully someone can come up with an idea to make icons like this work without having to change the charset, or by other meens get it compatible with other ppls mm2 configs.

Reminds me of the old Boss teamplay config which was modified into my current TP cfg by my sensei's :X

That's one of the charsets they used :X It contains characters for the first letter of their set nicks too. This was made for the times before colored text

ah cool, i thought it was strange i hadnt seen anything like this before, changing the charset. coloured nicks if clantp is very nice also
i now have a dream of matching nicks/skins (but i guess i can make that with coloured text now

Yeah this can be used somewhat effectively in the confined space of charsets, but you might want to consider using something easier to distinguish for the weapon icons. Something like what I have for my fragfile:
