Problem with a mouse.

My setup: USB Mouseman Optical Wheel (2001) @ EzQuake 1.8 (stable)

Done so far:

-USB mouserate switcher -> mouse to 250hz
-EzQuake -> -dipput, -m_smooth, m_rate 250, hud_mouserate_show 1.
-Tried all USB ports.
-Havent installed any logitech mouseware, should I?


I still have only 125 HZ and it drops regurarly to 1 or to 64.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I've used this mouse with 250hz, so I know it's very able to do it.

Got the same problem, tried several version of the hz switcher, none works. Running windows xp sp2 32 bit.

Sounds to me like a hardware compatibility issue, perhaps the motherboard messes up somehow. Did you install the patch in Safe mode (probably did, just asking to be sure)

dipput should be dinput =)

why? i use -dipput and get like 4000hz mouse
