This happened to me before and just now happened again: I try to open the main page in my browser but instead I get the profile of some random individual. I say 'random' because I actually dont remember who it was I got this time (or before). I seem to have unconsciously registered that it was a dutch player. (maybe if you can post a list of people that have just registered, I can check if he is in there)

Statistics are a bit poor: it happens about once every month; probably 2 times before this so far.

I am using Firefox and I go the front page by typing part of the URL and the selecting the one from the history. It is displayed as http://www.quakeworld.nu/. And a simple reload fixes the problem.

Yeah, this is a known issue with the site, it's not just a profile page, it can be any page, and it's totally random. We called it the "random page bug" and noone have been able to find the secret behind it, this is only known by Gaz. I'm sorry but for now you will just have to do a pagerefresh.

However I have an idea on what might be wrong, as sometimes when it happens you will see yourself being logged in as another user, so I think it might be a cache that someone else did.

It neverevereverever happened on the old host when I was doing bug testing, and I loaded that page A LOT back then.

It might be something to do with .htaccess, or it might be Smarty caching the wrong page. Try playing with the smarty cache variables.
