Preview for Generation Arena version 1.0, Quake3 mod.

Players select their favorite "generation" among five choices. Each generation "class" has its own unique character, weapons, physics, and gameplay, all styled after such classic FPS deathmatches as Doom, Quake, and Quake2. Each class represents a particular style of FPS gameplay, so Quake2 fans feel at home with the Strogg Troopers, QuakeWorld fans enjoy the Slipgate class, and so on.

Looks interesting and fun. The model remakes are nice, especially the Quake2 ones

Hope this will be something worth to play and bring quakers of all flavors into the game for a real stand off

If only that team weren't so fucking assholes about copyrighting their mimicried(?) id-IP.

who cares? they still mod for one of their games.. it's not like they sell it

so movement and such for the q1 class is identical to qw? (speedjump, rj's etc)

q1 class has air-control (and of course rocketjump)
