ezQuake beta 1.8 has been released

ezQuake is evolving. New beta release is out and we'd like to try different approach to betatesting. We'd like to go deep and drag lots of people into testing our client. This is the first 1.8 beta release and we'd like to make at least one more before we give out 1.8 stable version.

For the whole artice click here or just head to the client forum section

Download beta 1.8 from HERE

make sure you take little of your time to report bugs @ http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=415162
so we can all benefit from and enjoy a nice 1.8 final release

public beta testing really gets the bugs fixed

Is there a list (with explanations) of new cmds/cvars? I want to turn of those raining powerup symbols in the console background.

What I like about it that it will support not only win, linux and OS X, but FreeBSD as well. Maybe it isn't popular, but hey, it has even less games than linux, and it is getting qw!

All games running on Linux, run on FreeBSD too. Yeah, but it is nice to get an native version.
