I'm sure there are people here that know what are the active/popular qw servers in north america/canada, preferably on the east coast. What servers do the masters like def usually hang out on?

def doesn't play anymore. He's made an appearance here or there but I think he's just waiting for the scene to become challenging to him. Anyways, there really aren't popular servers unless it's team fortress or clan arena. Most of the deathmatch servers are empty until someone joins and then you will usually get a few people to follow you. On the east coast, there is a group of relatively active players. I recommend you use the All-Seeing Eye. It's a server browser that will let you see the players in each server. I'm in Massachusetts and here are IPs for DM servers in the USA that I ping relatively fine to.

Learn to use All Seeing Eye and you'll be able to find a game much quicker.

#qwplayers on irc.enterthegame.com and #american on irc.quakenet.org are good places to try and find games, but do not expect to find games at any time during the day, the NA scene is not the most lively.

thanks so much, i've been looking for good qw servers in NA, and i haven't been able to find a good place to practice my movement skills on a latent server, so thanks plazmaz for posting this. if anyone is willing to duel with someone who has been playing cpma too long, and wants to get his qw skills back, send me a PM, i wanna practice on a NA server... i want to get back in the NA QW scene. :-)
